third world problems in America

I am trying to keep up with your prayers.  God answers prayer and it is very, very important to pray.  God provided me with a way to keep in touch while doing the disaster relief.  I have been given an iPhone with MyWi and the wireless laptop.

Ask4Prayer.com : Prayer Request-Going to New York? Come along… BobbyMissions.

Rachel Watts (daughter) and Jessica, her friend want to come along.

This is not a problem for me because once we get there, the truck will provide adequate living space for three. There is a porta-potti in the truck now. With adequate sleeping bags and a modicum of warmth, they will be fine. I can sleep in the cab of the truck.

They are computer literate so I would offer them some work taking care of computers. I can teach them though they do not have laptops of their own.

I have an iPhone with MiWi which provides a hot spot so we should be able to work together and produce help for whomever.

Rachel and Jessica want to go to the big city and change their lives and I know of few places where they can have as much opportunity as New York. Since they are driving a car, we will come together in a truck caravan. They would like to stay in the New York Area. There is some concern ab out where they will stay and each opportunity will be up to them but i can offer them a jump start. They will have to provide for their own gas, oil and traveling expenses unless we receive donations for them. However, it appears to be a great opportunity for them as well. Please keep everything in your prayers.

Thanks, we will keep you updated.

Waiting for God or dying becaus God’s people won’t move.

There is a war going on. When my daughter had peritonitis, we asked for help. Some were ready. Others were busy singing, dancing and building buildings. Each time we start a project, I wonder if the funds we spend are at the expense of someone dying. It is unfortunate to be in a position where my daily bread is excessive while others around have nothing to eat.

Working with banks is so difficult. The fees to send money are often as high as going there ourselves.

Banks

We are finding that there is a network of people who fund themselves helping others. So often the fees for running ministries are so high that less than 20 cents of a dollar donated makes it to the right place and then it is often consumed by those there to help the poor. God help us. The world is dying and starving and we sing and dance and ignore the rest of the world.

If it were my daughter dying of a busted gut, I would not be so easy to say, “God’s mercy will care for the dying and starving,” especially when He gave us the power and authority to do something.

I am overwhelmed by yawns and inactivity. It is as if people really believe they will not be called to account for what they are doing.

God help us because if we wait on the church I see, nothing will happen.

The rich man was a pretty good guy

at least in his own eyes and probably his family as well. He must have been a repsected member of his community, being rich and all. I can imagine his religious services with the trappings, music and song and yet, I wonder. Did he give thought to the poor man at his gate? Did he stop to consider the people that carried his waste away or the lepers in town. i am sure that as the people came to talk to him about wars and problems he gave attention and maybe money but, there was Lazarus. Now there was a certain rich man, and he was clothed in purple and fine linen, living in luxury every day. A certain beggar, named Lazarus, was laid at his gate, full of sores, and desiring to be fed with the crumbs that fell from the rich man’s table. Yes, even the dogs came and licked his sores. It happened that the beggar died, and that he was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s bosom. The rich man also died, and was buried. In Hades, he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and saw Abraham far off, and Lazarus at his bosom. He cried and said, “Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue! For I am in anguish in this flame.” But Abraham said, “Son, remember that you, in your lifetime, received your good things, and Lazarus, in the same way, bad things. But now here he is comforted and you are in anguish. Besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, that those who want to pass from here to you are not able, and that none may cross over from there to us.” So, today, as you wander around thinking you are doing God a favor, have you looked at those who are blessed by God as a matter of fact? Matthew 5, 1-11. Have you considered Matthew 25:31-46 and thought about your heavenly scholastic grade for last week, month, year? Sorry, I have to go, I need to help people.

Plan to succeed

Plan to succeed. Project planning. I work with people who want to do things and they seem to miss the fact that everyone has 24 hours a day. Everyone. If you are crippled or maimed, if you are silly or stupid or the smartest man on earth, you have 24 hours a day.

Most folks pray and ask God for things without proper planning and that is why we end up with massive buildings costing millions of dollars and our brothers and sisters around the world are starving. If I asked any one of them to do the same, spend money on bricks and their child or parent was starving, they would become indignant and angry. Still, when we have peace and choice we do things that are utterly stupid. Buying someone a coat that costs millions of dollars when someone is dieing is stupid. Yet our religious leaders have clothes worth billions. And it is all at the expense of the poor and starving. Jesus said, “Sell everything you have and give it to the poor.” Now you know why.

So, help me. Lets plan to feed the poor and hungry. Lets plan to stop the bad guy from stealing from us and for goodness sakes, lets plan to be fully occupied with Matthew 25:31-46 rather than putting in some new addition to our closet, house, church or nation.

Celebrating the 4th of July, what is a Christian?

It is the 4th of July. For an American, it can be very happy or very sad. To remember those that have died to allow us the freedom to ignore others can be one of the saddest things in our lives.

Lemee see, Jesus is our guide and example. He said we should follow him. He went to hell, forgiving his enemies on the way, after telling us that no one could do anything to him lest he let them. Now, when we take things in our own hands and end up with the crusades, we loose. We loose our ability to speak to the world on Jesus behalf and cause all kinds of questions about His goodness, His kindness and His teachings.

One of the saddest things I have ever seen is traffic jams on streets leading to churches where people loose their tempers. Having spent 25 to 60 minutes Getting ready, the church members then drive cars worth 10’s of thousands of dollars to listen to worship groups with millions of dollars worth of equipment, telling folk how much they love God and want to obey God. Sundays, rich Christians spend upwards of 10.00 USD per person for lunch and considering a small short look at what it costs to keep someone from starving, say 35 cents a day, something is wrong with the picture.

If we decided to act like Jesus, our lives would need to be radically changed. When and if that happens, then we are subject to be known by our actions. They hit us, we drive them over with a truck. They bomb us, we destroy villages and towns. President Bush had people arrested and illegally detained. President Obama and the current crew of “Good Guys,” just send a bomb to your house, kill you, your neighbors and maybe several hundred others.

Are you a Christian? really? Is it simply confessing Jesus is Lord and you get the keys to the Kingdom? Matthew 25:31-46 was given as a true example about what is going to happen. The Great White Throne of Judgement? Will we stand?

What is going to happen tomorrow? With clear instructions by Jesus, does it matter?

There are hungry, thirsty strangers who have no clothes and are suffering from disease, imprisoned by their thought processes who need help. Why are you looking to see when the end is coming when there is work to do?

Why do we insist on the best?

I was walking down the sidewalk.  Christians, dressed in their finest were on their way to church.  I talked with them and they were all talking about the greatest teachers and the end times.  They were happy, wealthy and comfortable.  They were talking about how to be happier, wealthier, and more comfortable.  They spoke of this conference and that conference and the benifits of working for God.

Then I looked down and saw the faces.  People crying, children starving, death and destruction.  The people were walking on the poor of the world because they wanted 5.00 shirts and McDonald’s with fresh vegetables, all year around.  They wanted fruit every day and that required the wholesale slavery of the world.  People were not allowed to grow food and live, they had to become part of the food chain so the rich could talk about God in large air conditioned churches.

I fell to my knees crying and people began kicking me and pushing me to get me out of the way.  I was not part of their mindless wandering to churches that ignored the poor of the world and focused on a more excellent way and conferences where people spent millions to bring entertainment to the crowd, dressed like kings and living a life that depends on donations.  Donations to God?  Why did God, Jesus, leave the church of his day and go to the streets?  Why did his family try to get him back in the box.  Why did they kill him?

I helped people.  Some of them stood up and I prayed that they not get “Saved,” that they not learn to ignore the pain and suffering.  Sometimes God wins but other times knowledge helps us forget God.  Forget that we are part of a body and the body should take care of the body and not abuse some to let others become happy, wealthy and comfortable.

Then I woke up crying.  Deny yourself?  I get notes from people saying how blessed they are.  They have houses that are mansions.  Things that are amazing and people buy from folks who kill people to get them to work cheaper and faster and provide the wealthy (the poorest American is wealthy beyond belief for the average person in the world) with happiness, wealth and comfort.

I have a list of people that need help.  13.00?  2.00?  And I promise, no fancy buildings or lascivious churches.  Maybe Jesus meant it when He told us we would be judged on what we gave, not what we got, Matthew 25:31-46.  Maybe He meant it when He told us to deny ourselves.

An Insider’s View of Wall Street Criminality: Toxic Culture of Avarice and Fraud

An Insider’s View of Wall Street Criminality: Toxic Culture of Avarice and Fraud.

And the poor, bleeding, dying, starving and praying for relief, sit outside the door of the rich, like Lazarus, praying for help.  “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked, whatever they sew, they will reap, eternally.

Matthew 25:31-46

Facebook

Facebook.

I was introduced to a man.  I sent him a friend request.  He was a pilot in the Nigerian Police.  He has a lovely family and was a friend of a policeman in Lagos.  He did not answer my friend request.  He gave his life for his country and his family and you and I.  I will not be able to get to know his wife and children.  I am just another of those that loved a man that I never got to know.  I am sad.  I am angry, I am crying and helpless.  There is nothing I can do.  I want to save him, I want to make sure his family’s bills are paid and his lovely children are cared for.

I want to talk to the people responsible for his death and tell them that I am so sorry that they think they need to kill people to help God but then, I am a killer, I was a US Marine and a US Soldier and if I could punch God in the nose, I would.  How, can God just let this stuff happen.  I am Glad He is not responsible to me.  I know God is good.  My friend, Solomon Yohanna Ayuba and his wife Elizabeth J. Solomon know their family.  Silver and Gold, i don’t have but ….
God knows.  http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=360199604025194&set=a.197507673627722.54345.100001054728047&type=1&ref=nf
